Food was amazing, oysters, fish ( I ordered the branzino) calamari were all perfectly prepared /cooked. The food and service was so great that we even ordered dessert. We don't usually eat dessert but this is one of those times I was glad we did. We went here for my birthday and so glad we did.

The oysters are the best, as well as crab cakes! I lived the atmosphere of that place. The bartender was a great and friendly guy. Elephino Double IPA was perfect, bottled. Also, there's marlin fish above the bar is real (per bartender ;))

The place is so cool looking inside. Loved the vibe. The ceviches was amazing and chips were so crunchy and definitely homemade. The oysters were good but tiny and not really worth it. I had the branzino which I thought was a full fish but wasn't. Still very tasty. The fish and chips was flaky and not oily and so good. The gin cocktail special of the day was great as well

Took a bestie here for lunch for his birthday as he was craving crab cakes. The service was great. we started off with the crab cakes, they were good. And the bread plate, focaccia and butter were amazing!!! For mains we both had fish and chips. The other sauce options for the fish were great, fries were yummy, don't forget to ask for the vinegar!

I was in town for work and my co-workers and I made reservations here at 6pm. It wasn't super busy when we arrived but definitely filled up as we were leaving. The ambiance is chic, the decor is modern, simple, and classy. We ordered some cocktails and wine and they were all great! The food was also delicious! I ordered the seafood Cobb salad and it was actually so freaking good. My Cobb salad came with a scallop that was cooked to perfection so I didn't have to drool over the other dishes on the table, lol. My co-workers had steak and scallop entrees. They looked incredible. Also, I need a moment to talk about the bread and butter. It was fantastic. So crusty and flavorful. Like, wowwweeeee. How do they infuse so much flavor into it?! Y'all need to try it. Service was lovely, and I would love to come back! Give this place a try!

I absolutely love Current Fish and Oyster. While it may be considered pricey, let me assure you, it's worth every penny. During our visit, we indulged in a variety of dishes, but the octopus and oysters stole the show. They are absolute must-tries and embody what makes this restaurant so special. The flavors were exquisite, and each bite was a delight to the senses. The freshness of the seafood and the skillful preparation truly elevated our dining experience. To complement our meal, we decided to explore their sake flight. Let me just say, we were so impressed that we made a trip to the liquor store the next day to stock up. The selection, including the Utah Sake, was outstanding and added another layer of enjoyment to our evening.

I was amazed by this place. Food, service, ambiance, all 10/10. Oysters were excellent, brought in fresh (daily i think?). We loved the crab cakes, these are easy to fluff and fill with other things but there was a good amount of crab and the flavor was perfect. Spanish octopus was another shared plate we loved. Duck breast was perfectly cooked and came with brussel sprouts and a sweet potato cake. Market fish was good but nothing super special about it, the shrimp & grits was also delicious. Of the desserts, my favorite was this pudding-esque dish that tasted like christmas with notes of eggnog, cinnamon, & nutmeg. Loved it! The service was incredible. I can't remember our waiters name but he was ON TOP OF IT. At one point I got a little bit of sauce on my sleeve and from across the room he noticed and brought me a cup of soda water because he noticed me dabbing my napkin into my water. A small gesture but I was amazed he was paying that much attention.

As a vegetarian, I always feel like an imposter writing a review for any meat-focused restaurants. Although I can't speak to their seafood, which is what they're known for, I can speak to their vegetarian options and service. The service and environment here is amazing. Our server was so attentive and kind and helpful, checking on us the perfect amount of times, and refilling/replacing our drinks whenever they got low. I got the burrata appetizer and it was amazing - it came on a bed of greens and some sort of hummus I believe? Freshly toasted baguette was on the side. It was amazing. They actually had a couple of vegetarian options to choose from and I got one of their salads - the harvest salad service with root veggies and walnuts. It was really yummy. We got one of their cakes for dessert and it was so decadent and rich. Yummy! Will definitely come back.
